Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Welcome to ArtifactShot ("the Service"), operated by its founder as a sole proprietor based in Pakistan ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service does
ArtifactShot converts HTML, SVG and similar markup that you provide into image files. Free-tier conversions are performed locally in your browser. Pro cloud renders are processed transiently on our infrastructure and are not stored (see our Privacy Policy).
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You're responsible for activity under your account. One person per account; don't share credentials.
3. Your content
You keep every right to the code you paste and the images you export. You grant us only the minimal technical license needed to process your content and return your image — nothing more. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you convert, and for how you use the exported images.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) convert or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or intended to deceive (including impersonation of real people or brands); (b) attempt to break the rendering sandbox, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its quotas; (c) resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own; (d) use automated scripts to bulk-drive the Service outside any published API. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
5. Plans, billing and refunds
Paid plans are sold and billed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record — they are the seller of record for your purchase, handle payment processing, invoicing and applicable taxes, and their terms apply to the transaction. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime via Manage billing and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Charges are refundable within 7 days of payment per our Refund Policy, which includes fair-use conditions. We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice; changes never affect an already-paid period, and lifetime purchases are never re-billed.
6. Free tier and fair use
The free tier is provided as-is and may include watermarks, feature limits (such as output resolution) and daily capacity limits, which we may adjust to keep the Service sustainable.
7. Service changes and availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Rendering third-party markup is inherently imperfect; we do not guarantee that every artifact converts flawlessly. We may modify or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the Service entirely, active subscribers receive a pro-rata refund of unused time and lifetime purchasers within the preceding 12 months receive a partial refund.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 10 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of Section 4.
10. Intellectual property
The Service — its code, design, brand and documentation — is ours. These Terms grant you use of the Service, not ownership of any part of it.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Contact or in-app). We may terminate for breach of these Terms, with refund of any unused paid period unless the breach was willful abuse.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pakistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. (Purchases are additionally governed by Dodo Payments' terms and the protections they provide as seller of record.)
